Breastfeeding Essentials

Everything I Used During My Breastfeeding Journey

Nursing bras

These are the only bras I feel comfortable wearing! The bras with the clip on the shoulders are difficult to work with, especially in the middle of the night and with one hand. These are much easier to maneuver and handle. Sleeping in these are also ideal. I can even fit my willow 3.0 in these!

boppy nursing pillow

After trying the my brest friend pillow, I found the boppy easier and more comfortable! When it’s the middle of the night, buckling in was just an extra step I wasn’t fond of. The boppy hugs into me and offers the perfect amount of support during feedings.

nursing pads

The nursing bra doesn’t have any pads so these are essential to have and comfortable as well. I use these when I am not actively breastfeeding to catch any random leakage.

nipple butter

A LIFESAVER. Breastfeeding takes a toll and completely cracked my nipples. This nipple butter was so soothing and helped me continue breastfeeding. It is also safe for the baby and organic so I didn’t have to worry about wiping it off everytime before each feeding

elvie curve

I’ve tried several different kinds of milk catchers like the haaka and haaka ladybug but the elvie curve is by far the best! I have several of these since i’m lazy and don’t wash them right away. This has saved me from changing my shirt several times a day from the leaking while breastfeeding.

Nursing cover

I honestly haven’t had a chance to use this yet since my baby is only a few weeks old and we haven’t left the house yet! But the fabric is soft and comfortable, I will definitely be using it once we go out.
