Postpartum hair loss

Oh me oh my. My poor hairline. 3 months was around the time my beautiful pregnancy, nutrient dense, hair started to fall out like an over dramatic soap opera. My hair type isn’t thin nor is it thick. But it was thin enough for me to notice the receding hairline and bald spots! I dove deep into research and here are some products and methods that really helped with the regrowth!

Vegamour Hair Serum

I had been using this around one month postpartum preventative measures and will do it again! I was able to see results before the hair loss with shinier, stronger hair. I continued to use it after I started losing hair and felt that the regrowth process was fairly quick.

Rosemary Oil

I used rosemary oil in combination with castor oil and coconut oil to dilute it. Hair oiling has been a ritual for me now since postpartum and I will never go back! You only need a few drops of this (it is strong) so make sure to do your own research before oiling your hair!

Hair Growth Supplement

I actually found out about this around 6 months postpartum and wish I had found it sooner! I noticed a difference around 4 weeks after taking them and found the strength and length was really noticeable! Definitely recommend to use during postpartum

Shampoo Brush

When I researched about hair growth, I read that scalp stimulation was essential for results! Stimulating blood flow to the scalp will engage the hair follicles and help with hair regrowth! It also helps remove scalp buildup and great for individuals with dandruff as well.

Castor Oil

I. Love. Castor. Oil. I have been using this for years for various reasons (eyelashes and eyebrows) and have seen amazing results! When I started to lose hair, this immediately came to mind to start blending with other oils for the most optimal result.

Biotin Shampoo

Because I was already taking a supplement, I wanted a shampoo to give a little extra help and decided on this biotin shampoo. I’m not sure if this on its own would be helpful, but the combination of everything on this blog definitely aided in getting my pre-pregnancy hair back on track!
