What I Take To Restaurants (Toddler Edition)
Eating out with a toddler is stressful enough. Here are some things I take with me to make my life a little easier!
Inglesina travel high chair
This has been SUCH a lifesaver! Not all restaurants have high chairs available (sometimes they’re all taken) and I personally feel better knowing where she’s sitting is clean. It has fit about 90% of tables i’ve taken it to.
spill proof cups
My daughter loves cups. She’s currently obsessed with drinking from an open cup and these are a great no spill option with a straw option in case she changes her mind.
travel utensils + case
I don’t really trust my daughter with adult silverware yet and plastic ones are too flimsy so having my own set that she’s already comfortable using is a huge plus and the case it comes with is really useful as well!
theo disposable splat mat
As a past waitress, I am so glad these exist. Easy to lay down to catch the mess and I can clean it all up in a second so I don’t have to leave the restaurant embarrassed haha. Highly recommend!
suction plates with lids
I have gotten so many inquiries about these plates everytime I go out! the suction is great and the lids are secure. My daughter likes to pick up the glass plates and for safety reasons, these are a better choice.
disposable sticky placemats
These are super helpful as well. The animals and alphabet keep her occupied while we wait for food and it is easy to apply and remove. I tend to just wrap all the trash in this and then wrap it up in the theo mat for easy cleanup for the staff!
